Hamilton County Geocaching Community Celebration Community Celebration Event

Come celebrate the beginning of geocaching in Hamilton County.

January 27, 2001 "Hawg" was published and geocaching in this area began.  We will gather at the trailhead (coordinates are for a picnic table on the left just past the trailhead sign) to celebrate the hobby that we love.  (Bring a chair because the picnic table leaves a lot to be desired). The event will occur rain or shine.  I will have a popup canopy but there will be no other shelter.

Those that wish to can hike about 0.5 miles to this historic cache (most of the trail is relatively flat, but then you must ascend through the boulders to find the well preserved ammo can and original log).  There are other caches in the area also if you want to make a day of it.

Complete the BINGO card for door prize entries.  Must attend the event to qualify but do not have to stay until the end to win.  All entires must be submitted by 9:45 (15 minutes before event ends).

Daub your spots by writing in qualifying cache GC and date found.  No cache can be used to fill two spots. Each row, column or diagonal completed earns you an entry for door prizes at the event.  Entries must be turned in 15 minutes before the event ends.  You do not have to present at time of drawing but must have attended this event to enter.
