The Covid Camp Out!

Everyone, Come join us for a fun day/evening/night/morning event at Vigilante Campground just outside of York, MT.

Social Distancing will be advised. All camp chairs must be 6ft apart. and no larger groups at the food tables. Masks and sanitizer will be available. We are looking into getting some commemorative Geocaching maskes. Limited quanity so we would like to know the number cacher attending so we can get enough masks.

The Event will start at 4pm on Saturday September 19th, and run thru noon Sunday September 20th.

Everyone is welcome to bring a camper, tent or vehicle and spend the night If you can't spend the the night please come out during the day and enjoy the afteroon with your fellow cachers. Hot dogs, buns and condiments will be provided to cook over the fire. S'mores will also be provided. Feel free to bring whatever campground friendly food you would like to eat. Sunday breakfast will be a potluck so if you're planning on being there, bring your favorite camping breakfast and tell us in the log so others know what to bring.

There are a few caches in the area for those who feel the need for a hike. There are numerous caches starting at the Trout Creek Trail head just outside the campground, and the Hanging Valley Cache leaving from inside the campground.

Bring your chairs, blankets, camp games, hot dog skewers,Fire Wood, favorite geocaching, hiking, ghost stories and have an enjoying weekend with your fellow cachers
