This will also be a Community Celebration Event to celebrate 20 years of caching fun
This event will be held outdoors so there will plenty of room to practice social distancing if you so desire.
The event will be held at campsite 74
We welcome cachers of all levels so whether you are a new cacher looking to meet people with similar interests or an experienced cacher looking to get reacquainted with old friends you will find it here. Or if you don't feel like caching at all there will be lots of socializing going on.
The park offers beach area, sand volley ball, a shelter, playgrounds for the kids, hiking trails, 4 wheeler trails, boating, camping, fishing and of course geocaching!
The event is free of charge but the park does have an entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for a daily pass or $30 for an annual pass. Either pass will get you entrance to all Jackson County Parks. If you are camping in the park the entrance fee is included with the cost of the campsite. Camping rates vary camping info
Feel free to bring trackables to trade or for discovery! Whether you come just for the event or for the weekend there should be plenty to do to keep you busy.
Please bring your own plates, silverware and a dish to pass. We will provide turkey and punch to drink. We will be making 4 turkeys!!
When logging your will attend please post what you will bring so we get a variety.
Event will run from 11:30 am to 3pm. Feel free to stay past 3pm if you would like.
