The Brown Teddies and two nosy parkers are often to be found caching together, sometimes close to their homes, in NW England and the Midlands respectively, and sometime further afield. When caching together, we call ourselves Team Gallivant, after our families accused us of always gallivanting off to some place or another, with geocaching in mind. We are always happy to meet other cachers, share geo-talk, swap and discover trackables and get tips on good local caches.
This special event, celebrating 20 years of geocaching, will be held in Gleaston Village Hall. We’ll open the gate for parking on the village green, as long as the field is not too wet. Otherwise, there is street parking in the village, but please park considerately.
There will be tea, coffee, squash and cake/biscuits – free, but coin donations welcome. We’ll have a few cache containers for sale too.
There will be a chidren’s geocaching trail (map based) around the village green, with prizes, and the event will be open to the muggle community.
