Geocache Description:

A Golden Oldie

This cache is set to celebrate the coming of age of a certain local cacher who has been known to dabble in the odd puzzle or two.

There are many numbers on a cache page. Some you can see and some require more in depth delving to find. They can sometimes be useful raw materials for puzzles.

Your task is to extract one number from five different cache pages and then take a digit from each number. The choice of pages has no significance other than being appropriate for the Birthday Boy!

There is no need to do any conversion (e.g. converting letters to numbers) – you are looking for numbers.

Again, the published coordinates and the Cache Owner name have no significance other than to the quinquagenarian himself.

GC2TB22: Ordnance Survey.  Let the first digit (of ten) = A

GC26XCG: Id.  Let the fifth digit (of seven) = n

GC5AYB6: Carpe Diem.  Let the second digit (of two) =  d

GCNDYD: To what do you attribute his success? A GPX file?  Let the second digit (of two) = y

GC4WACP: Needs a background check.  Let the second to last digit (of lots) = R

The cache is hidden at N 51 18.(d * R)dR  W 000 23.n(n - A)y

(The * in the above indicates 'multiply')

Once you have solved the puzzle, at GZ you will need a code number to access the log sheet.

And of course the required code =AndyR 😁
