A chance to catch up at the BBQ facilities in the grounds of the University of Adelaide Medical School. Brad has pre-booked the use of the facilities and sausages, bread and sauce should be available at least until they run out.
Tools of the Trade Expo:
The focus of this event is Tools of the Trade over the last 20 years. Please feel free to bring along your favourite Tools of the Trade so that those new to the hobby might be able to see what people have. Small or large it would be appreciated if as many attendees as possible could bring their favourite TOTTs along. Given the 20 year celebration nature of the event old TOTTs no longer in use will also be welcome.
There will also be a wide selection of currently available TOTTs on display along with options to acquire your own. There may be some prizes too.
Note: There will be insufficient room to land a full sized helicopter so please do not bring any of these along. This area is also part of Controlled Airspace and the flying of drones is not permitted. There will be parking available for trains but you will need to arrange this in advance.
COVID Safety:
This is an outdoor location. Brad is a qualified/trained COVID Marshall and there will be a COVID Safe plan in place. As part of this attendees will be required to sign a log sheet with their real name and contact details. Physical distancing should be observed. There will be hand sanitiser available but feel free to bring your own.
For catering and COVID safety planning it would be helpful if all those likely to attend could indicate in a log at least a few days in advance.
Stay for as little time or as long as you want.
Steel horses and other issues:
Given the event's location, please be aware that there may be trains. People with ferroequinophobia will be provided with appropriate support upon request. Train spotters (ferroequinophiliacs) are invited to bring their binoculars so they do not miss important details. It is also possible that there will be conversations about geocaching at this event. You have been warned.
