Rally at Darth Vader's Park (Harrington Park, Riccarton) as the sun's goes down, arm yourself with Light Saber,  dress up as Jedi/Rebels or Storm in with the Dark side (Sabers and dress up optional) and gather to regail in adventures across the galaxy to unknown secret places of tuppleware and mintins. 

Bring a seat and dinner and as the sun goes down (according to google will be around the time of the start of this event). light up the place and have some fun

There is a play place near by as well as a cache to get. pleanty of places to get a feed as well and picnic it up (weather permitting) 

May the 4th, is internationally known as STAR WARS day, due to the play on words May the FORTH (FORCE) be with you

Some exciting news for this event.
We have a cool competition to participate in.

Make a lightsaber out of recyclable material, these will be judged and you could win... one of 2 inReach hires worth over $200
Just by building your own recyclable lightsaber and bringing it to the event.

Also a Prize for best Star wars Costume.

Prizes for Best Saber made by an under 16 year old and by an over 16 year old.

There is only 1 prize for best costume.

Judging of the Sabers and Costume will be at 6:30pm.
