Who's up for a cheeky overnighter?
It's been a long year cooped up with on again-off again lockdowns, so we have decided to nick off up the hills while the going is good for a cheeky overnighter.
We'll be carting in the tent and other sleeping paraphernalia and assorted stuff to stay the night under the stars, and you lot are more than welcome to drag in your own stuff to do the same and joins us for tall tales and the odd nip of the finest of fermented grape juice that comes in a box.
Just remember that this is an alpine area at altitude so even though it might be summer, bring warm clothing and a good rain coat just in case, as the weather can turn on a 10 cent piece up there. Also you will need to be self sufficent in all your camping stuff, food and water and/or filtration methods, and if you also want to carry in some grape juice, that is fine by us.
We will be walking in from the Cope Hut carpark, and will be leaving there just after lunch (around 2pm-ish) for the liesurely stroll in, and set up the tent and stuff.
