Geocache Description:

25 October 2020, 11:30 - 13:30

If you're in Auckland for Labour Weekend and are looking for a fun activity, why not come to a lunchtime picnic at Pulman Park.  The picnic is located very near the site of NZ Mega 2020, GC87777, which has been postponed until Labour Weekend 2021.

The picnic will take place from 11:30AM until 1:30PM on Sunday, 25 October. Bring your own lunch and something to share -- appetisers, chips, desserts, etc.  Also bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, sunscreen if it’s a sunny day, or ... don't worry it will be a sunny day.

Afterwards, there will break into teams for an exciting competitive game in the area that should last until about 5:00PM.  Make sure you are able to read QR codes to participate.  (Don't worry.  No massive computing will be required).  Be sure to come to the awards dinner at 5:00PM, Labour Weekend Sunday Awards Dinner.

There is plenty of parking very close by and quite a few Geocaching in the area.

Overnight camper parking is available at Pulman for self-contained vehicles.  Please make your own booking through Pulman Arena by contacting the park directly.

SORRY – No dogs allowed on the Park

We are also having a CITO this weekend at Duder Regions Park.  See Duder Regional Park Track Improvement.

We assume that COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on the date of the Community Celebration.  If this is not the case, we will follow all government rules and postpone, if necessary.
