Please join other geocachere at The Beautiful Lost River Cave to celebrate 20 years of geocaching.
This event will be a FREE event and will be from 4:00 until 6:00 at The beautiful Lost River Cave. The event command center will be at the end of the parking lot (there was a mix up and the meeting room got booked)
Small change. Everything is happening in the open field at the end of the parking lot. The Lost River Cave is donating 40 boat tours for the event. The boat tours are for the 5:00 boat tour and will be available on a first come first serve basis. To register for the free tour there will be a list with 40 spaces on a table in the meeting room at 4:00 pm and the first 40 names on the list will be the ones going on the tour. The cut off time to get on the list will be 4:30pm. There will be a special log book for the cave tour part of the event. You do not need to take the boat tour to attend the celebration event and there will be another separate log top side. The scarecwow trail will be in full swing and the cave valley will have around 60 very creative scarecrows that are a must see. The colors of trees should be almost at peak color. You can come early and check out the trails.
Hot dogs chips and drinks will be available. (DANBG here, if there are enough “will attends” I will make some pulled pork barbeque)
