Come Celebrate 20 years of Geocaching with the Tulsa Area Geocachers.
Mohawk Park and Oxley Nature Center hav been great supporters of Geocaching throughout the last 20 years, so what better place to hold a celebration? We will be gathering from 10am to Noon in the Fawn Grove Picnic area just West of the Nature Center parking lot.
We'll have a game of Geo Bingo, some temporary geocaches to find, have some prize drawings and share memories from the "Good 'ol Days." Prize donations are appreciated, but not required.
Bring your signature items of any variety and Trackables to share, discover and trade.
"Seasoned" geocachers, bring your memories and stories to share.
If you haven't "Cached out" the area come work on your Memory Lane Souvenirs!
We won't be sharing a meal, but will have water available and an anniversary celebration cake.
The picnic area is large enough for "social distancing" if necessary. Face masks are not required, but optional. If you plan on entering the Oxley Nature Center you will need a face mask.
Mohawk Park's gates open at 7 am and close at 9 pm! On weekends, April 1 -October 31, you'll need to bring $2/vehicle to enter Mohawk Park, unless you are a member of Friends of Oxley Nature Center or Zoo Friends. Pets are not allowed on the Nature Center trails, but leashed ones can enjoy other parts of Mohawk Park.
