A big thanks to Karlstads Kommun for letting me use their photo archive and the map with historical images.
As most cities in the world, Karlstad is in motion.
Slowly but steadily it is getting bigger, newer, more populated.
From small details where a new color of paint is used for the windows,
to large projects where entire new areas get implemented into the city.
From obviously notable, to ever so subtle.
What was new yesterday, is normal tomorrow.
From time to time we get a chance to see how things were.
A glimpse of how it was 5 years ago, to a 100 years back.
I personally find that very interesting.
I find it strange and interesting at the same time.
Seeing how things change and evolve.
Even for a city where I have only been living the 5 past years.
So when Karlstads Kommun recently launched its Historical map,
I was instantly interested and digging through all the pictures to see how things have changed.
And of course it gave me an idea for a new Mystery Cache.
The task at hand is rather simple.
I am giving you 14 pictures.
Pictures of Karlstad in the past.
The first 7 pictures give you the North coordinates.
The 7 last pictures will show you the East coordinates.
All pictures have a letter. From A to N.
You will have to find each picture on this map.

If you find the picture, you will see that there is some info for that picture.
What I need is the last number of the year that the picture was taken.
Say that a picture was taken in 1985, you need to take number 5.
Only use the number that is given in the info (Bildår).
If there is a year on the picture itself or the filename, that doesn't count!
Once you have found the info, fill it in here:
North AB CD.EFG East HI JK.LMN
Once you get green in the checker, go find the cache and who knows...
You migh end up in a part of town that is still relativly unaffected by an ever expanding city.
