Friday 12 - Sunday 14 June 2020
We will be hosting a weekend of camping/caravanning/motorhoming/campervanning/ glamping at the Balloch O’Dee Campsite nr Nr Newton Stewart. We plan to be there from about 4 pm on Friday 12 June until mid to late afternoon on Sunday 14 June.
On Friday evening between 5 and 7 pm we will have a meet and greet outside the round house (BURT0N HQ for the weekend), (see waypoint). Remember and bring your camping chair.
On Saturday evening between 6 and 11 pm we will have a Cowboy Campfire in the roundhouse fire pit area, our large event shelter will be up in case of bad weather. We are happy to either organise some big pots of something meaty and non-meaty or have a BBQ. Decision will be made nearer the time but would appreciate a small donation towards the cost. Please state in your log if you would like food supplied. We would be grateful if you could bring along a small sweet or savoury item for everyone to share (eg. crisps, popcorn, sweets, small cakes), one item per group will be enough. Prizes will be awarded for the best Cowboy costume worn, so dust of those cowboy hats and boots.
If any non-campers wish to join in with the evening festivities only, aim to be there between 6 and 11 pm on Saturday night as there may not be anyone around during the day.
