NL: Dit is een rustige plek om te wandelen en te genieten van de heide en het bos. Ik neem jullie mee om verschillende bomen te ontdekken. En als bonus, kunnen jullie Frans leren!
Dit is een prachtige laan met oude beukenbomen. Jullie zien misschien op sommige stammen een grote bal op de stam. Dat is een afwijking in het hout die eruitziet als een soort kanker, maar die een heel mooie houtstructuur geeft. Terwijl de bossen in Frankrijk meer eiken hebben, zie je in Nederland meer beukenbossen. Zowel hout van eiken als hout van beuken werd in het verleden tijd gebruikt om boten te bouwen. Het wordt tegenwoordig gebruikt voor meubels en parketvloeren. Het hout is lichtbruin met warme tinten en aderen.
Degene van de cache ligt nu in bed, hij heeft zijn dag gehad.

Ici, c’est une superbe allée bordée de hêtres bien âgés. Vous pourrez noter sur certains de grosses boules sur le tronc, il s’agit de loupe, une anomalie du bois qui s’apparent à un genre de cancer mais donne des morceaux très beau. Alors qu’en France les forêts sont plus de chênes, la Hollande a des forêts de hêtres magnifiques. Le bois vaut bien le chêne et était utilisé pour construire les bateaux dans le passé. Il est utilisé pour les meubles et les parquets. Le bois est brun clair avec des teintes chaudes avec des nervures
Celui de la cache est désormais couché il a bien fait son temps.

Here it’s a beautiful path lined with old beech trees. You may notice on some of them, large balls on the trunk, they are burls, an anomaly in the wood that looks like a kind of cancer but gives very beautiful pieces. While in France the forests are more oaks, Holland has magnificent beech forests. The wood is well worth as oak and was used to build boats in the past. It is used for furniture and parquet floors. The wood is light brown with warm grains
