TUBE SideTracked – Holland Park
The station hall maintains some traditional features, even if it had to incorporate modern devises such as ticket barriers and passenger operated machines. The friendly station staff told me the light fittings kept true to their old design. The skylight gives the hall more light during the day.
Hanging off the ceiling, there are A lights. By the lifts, there are B lights attached to the wall. The skylight has C rectangular panes, D triangular ones and E that are trapeziums. It is supported by F cross beams. The hall is supported by G columns made of iron with green on their tops.
The cache is located at N51°30.(D-C+F)(B+C)(A+F), W000°12.GF(E-B). You may need quite a stretch to get to it, so a relatively high terrain rating is given. Otherwise it is only a short walk away from the station. Tweezers may be required.
