War Memorial #962 ~ Greenford
Greenford is a transport hub, with many buses stopping here. It may not be your destination, but when you are waiting for your next bus, you may want to visit the memorial that remembers 19 individually named men, who died during the First World War. The inscriptions could be tricky to read, but the Imperial War Museum website has a transcription.
The cache is a small non magnetic tube, at the back of a bench. Please be stealthy, as this area could be very busy during the day. You may want to have tweezers ready.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-Us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
