This annual event is a little different this year. Sweet 16 is also the 20th year of Geocaching so this is will also be a Community Celebration Event 2020. This late in the year this will probably be the last chance for people to get the Community Celebration Event Icon if you haven't already however with The Rona lurking about, people may have a chance to get one well into 2021
The very first cache I ever did was this annual Christmas event cache. I had only been geocaching for six months at the time. Lots of memories over the years. It has been a blast. We have had some cold clear nights, blizzards, and even some warm muddy ones. This one will be a little different. I usually have this in the boonies, but I am trying to make this more accessible so people will have the opportunity to get the Community Event Icon if they haven't yet. Event Date: Saturday December 5th Event Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm (or until everybody leaves) It is an open house (without the house) so come and go as you please. Bring some goodies to share and dress warm. The event is outdoors, but there will be warm fires to warm yourself as well as hot chocolate and cider. It will be the same as the past few years, but for those of you who haven't attended before, the open house will be outside so dress warm. Winters can be cold, even in St. George.
