Pretend To Be A Time Traveller Sand Castle Competition
Today is International Pretend to be a Time Traveller Day! We will celebrate this by building sandcastles that relate to time travelling.
There will be a few unactivated travel bugs as prices for the best sandcastle. I will be the sole judge in this competition, and my decision will be final and not subject to appeal.
You will probably not stand much chance to win a travel bug if you make a telephone-box-type time machine.
The rules are:
MAXIMUM 4 people working together on ONE sandcastle.
Geocaching teams are allowed to team up, but to a maximum of 4 people. IN CASE WE STILL HAVE PHYSICAL DISTANCING RULES, I MAY HAVE TO DROP THIS RULE AND EACH GEOCACHING TEAM WILL HAVE TO BUILD THEIR OWN SANDCASTLE.
Incorporating items we would normally remove during a beach CITO into your sand castle, and then removing those items after the prices have been awarded, will increase your chances of winning.
Bring a picnic to keep you going during the competition; we can always retire to one of the nearby watering holes for some refreshment and/or late dinner afterwards.
