I'm not a Boro fan, but am a fan of the war memorial series, especially the unusual ones. This memorial is to the Boro players who lost their lives in both World Wars. The memorial itself is set into the ground, in front of the old gates which were at the old home of Middlesbrough, Ayresome Park. On either side of where the memorial is sited there are two statues, of players from yesteryear. It is from the statues that the final co-rdinates can be obtained... N54 34.ABC W001 13.DEF
