Trešais slēpnis takas turpinājumā, kura ved uz Aizkraukles purvu. Aizkraukles purvs atrodas stundas brauciena attālumā no Rīgas pie jaunās šosejas Tīnūži-Koknese. Aizkraukles purvs sācis veidoties pirms apmēram 8000-9000 gadiem, kūdras slāņa biezums sasniedz 7,9 m. Senākās ziņas par Aizkraukles purvu var atrast 17. gs. zviedru laiku kartēs. Vēl 20. gs. sākumā purvs bijis daudz plašāks un klajāks, purva minerālsalām kopš sendienām saglabājušies skanīgi nosaukumi – Liepu sala, Brūkleņu sala, Vērša sala, Garā sala. Galvenie apskates objekti: purva ezeriņi, lāmas un akači, minerālsalas ar seniem platlapju mežiem. Ja paveiksies, tad tālumā varēs sadzirdēt dzērves un uzmanīgi ieskatoties, varēs ieraudzīt kukaiņēdāju augu – raseni. Lai sasniegtu objektu, zābaki ir obligāti nepieciešami. Aizkraukle Bog is located an hour's drive from the new highway, Tīnži-Koknese. Aizkraukles Bog has begun to develop approximately 8000-9000 years ago, the thickness of the peat layer reaches 7.9 m. The oldest news about Aizkraukle Marsh can be found in the 17th century in Swedish time cards. At the beginning the marsh was much wider and more blatant, the swamp mineral islands have survived the catfish names – Liepu Island, Lingonberry Island, Taurus Island, the Long Island. Main attractions: Lakes of marsh and mineral islands with ancient broad-leaved forests. If you get lucky, you can hear the cranes in the distance and look carefully to see the insect plants.
