Clean up alien tree species from the reserve
The Kabeljous Reserve Action Group is a group volunteers, that works with The National Parks Board of South Africa
This group would like us to help them to trim down the alien trees in the reserve, if some of us could trim the trees in the direction of the “Gab”, and the rest of us will have to move these tree parts to the shown point
We will need you to please indicate if you have a handsaw or petrol saw to use. This event might change to a river clean up will give notice in due course.
You will also need to wear protective trousers, walking shoes, and cloves.
A hat, sunblock and loads of water would come in handy.
Those of you that first would like to go to the JBay Parkrun at 8:00 are welcome, and as usual a quick stop at the Market afterwards, from there we will leave for the Reserve to meet the KRAG volunteers at the reserve’ entrance: 10am.
We will then take a walk to the appointed area where they need our help.
Remember all the attends will receive a CITO souvenirGood news to all of you that wasn't interested, in helping with the alien trees, we now also can help the reserve on cleaning up the riverbank, please bring with your gloves as well as a black bag, we will split up in 2 groups. Hope to see you all.
