Halloween, alternativt Hallowe'en är en högtid som infaller den 31 oktober. Halloween har sitt ursprung på Irland och delvis i Skottland, via USA, dit många irländska emigranter kom under 1840-talets svält- och nödår.
En halloweentradition bland barn är att klä ut sig i spökkostymer, och gå runt i kvarteret för att be grannarna om bus eller godis, liknande den sekulära påsktraditionen med påskkärringar i Sverige och Finland.
Här i närheten så ligger en nöjespark där det varje höst sedan 2015 utspelar sig ett Halloween firande med allt från pumpor till spökhus och zombies. Det kanske är värt ett besök ifall man söker lite spänning i vardagen! 😊

A Halloween tradition is that of trick-or-treating where children dress up in costumes and go around the neighbourhood asking their neighbours for candy. Much like the Swedish/Finnish tradition of easter witches.
In the vicinity lies an amusement park where there’s a Halloween celebration every fall since 2015 with all it entails. It might be worth a visit if your everyday life needs some excitement! 😊
