This is the new Pudding Mill Lane Station opened in 2014 replacing the earlier station which opened in 1996. The new station is significantly larger and was needed because of the development for Crossrail, the Elizabeth line which passes directly through the old station location. Currently the station is underused but has a high capacity ready for the new developments in the local area both immediately around the station and across the High Street at Sugar House Island.
