St Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Church is the youngest of the four Christian churches in the centre of the village of Knaphill. The building that now stands in Victoria Road replaced the original building which was built in 1908.
St Hugh of Lincoln parish is part of Woking Deanery in the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.
Now to the cache. Having recently been frustrated with Church Micro Multicaches where we have traipsed all around a church gathering lots of information for the co-ordinates, done the sums, and then discovered that the cache is a long walk away despite there being no other caches in the village, we wanted to place a nice and easy Traditional Church Micro to make up for them.
18/2/24 Update - We have had to move the cache away from the Church as an unfriendly neighbour has been sabotaging the cache containers - but we have kept it as a Trad as it is still quite close to the Church.
Please make sure you are not spotted retrieving the cache, signing the log and replacing the container
The cache is a magnetic sheet on the back of a small green box and so there is only a logbook - you will need your own pen to sign the log.
There is some parking on the roads around the church and there are two free car parks in the village.
If you would like to add to the Church Micro series yourself then please look here
