This geocache IS at the posted coordinates, however to log it you will first need to open the container. To do that, you will need to solve the who, the when, and the where of Signal’s kidnapping. Yes, you read that right: Signal, our hobby’s beloved mascot, has been kidnapped. While on a tour of North Dakota, Signal was abducted by an unknown individual some time in the morning and has been taken to an unknown location. The kidnapper has sent a message to Geocaching HQ demanding 1 million dollars and 100,000 virtual rewards in exchange for the safe release of our amphibian friend. Fortunately, HQ was able to find 3 clues in the message that may give more information about Signal’s kidnapping and possibly lead to his safe return. Now it is up to you, dear geocacher, to solve these clues.
The puzzles here will be somewhat easier for those who have a background in I.T. For those with minimal I.T. experience, the internet is your friend. The first puzzle gives the hour of the morning at which Signal was kidnapped and will reveal the first number you will need to open the cache:
