Geocache Description:

Here's a li'l numbers puzzle to figure out.

Place the digits from 1 through 9 into the empty squares such that the three columns down and the three rows across each form correct arithmetic equations. Each number is used exactly once.

Note that the calculations are performed from left to right and top to bottom, ignoring usual mathematical order of operations. For example, 4–3x7 would equal 7, not negative-17.

The coordinates of the cache are:

NORTH 44° (5g – 2i + c) . ( g ) (4e – 2a) ( h )

WEST 073° (g + a – b) . (6a – 8e) ( i ) ( c )

(Inside the parentheses, do the arithmetic to get the number. Outside the parentheses, just subsitute the number in for the digit. Final coordinates are in DD MM.MMM format.)

Have fun!
