Wildlife abounds in the Park, and you may encounter kangaroos or the threatened Eastern Barred Bandicoot, for which there is a recovery program here. The whole area is being restored to 1840s character as a reminder of the pioneering pastoral settlement of what was then the Port Phillip District of NSW. If your tastes are more modern, you can sit and watch the arrivals and departures at the nearby busy transport hub.
You can park just off a main road nearby for a short walk to the cache site. If you'd rather take a longer walk to enjoy all that the area has to offer, there are several car parks and many trails in the Park (gates open 8:30am to 4:30pm).
The cache is a 400ml clip-top plastic box. As usual, please ensure the cache is well hidden again before you leave.
