It's gonna be movie night on the Space Coast so save the date and grab a date!
No need to travel far to watch these movies. Every year, Groundspeak invites budding movie makers to create genius. This year the GIFF reel contains an hour of carefully selected finalists films made by geocachers, for geocachers, about geocachers, geocaches and geocaching.
Groundspeak started approving these remote viewing parties after the 2015 GIFF was rained out in Seattle. Now in it's fifth year, more and more people are being exposed to these creative individuals and it's giving us an excuse to party.
The coordinates will take you to BlackJeep's place of business where we'll have seating for about 40 people. It's the movies so we'll have popcorn and unlike the theaters, you're welcome to sneak in your own treats. The plan is to gather at 6 pm, schmooze and swap our own geocaching stories before we dim the lights and start the show at 7 pm. We get to pick our own winners, so ballots will be distributed for you to tally your favorites during the hour-long showing of these movie shorts.
