It was an amazing trip: Goal was to visit 5 countries during my 7 days stay: Latvia, Estonia, Finnland, Lithuania and Russia (Kaliningrad area).
Started from Hamburg and arrived in Riga, continued by Bus to Tallinn, then with the Ferry to Helsinki and back to Tallinn, then back to Riga. Continued by car to Siauliai and to Sovetsk, then back to Riga and back home.
It was an amazing trip, I had organized five events, on three of them more people than I had expected showed up and they were fun. In Tallinn, I got the Info that there are also five Labcaches, I had not checked the app, so was very happy to also get them.
In Riga, besides all the other Caches, I had the opportunity to log a D5T5 challenge Cache :-) In Helsinki I thought it would be the worst day of my trip since it was raining so much when I arrived and the ticket vending machine for public transport did not offer a day ticket up to zone D... but after a while the rain stopped, the event I made was really nice, Caches were nice, and I finally went to GC72 :-) With good preparation I stopped with the bus near the entrance to the wood but heavy rain had started again and getting to GC72 felt like wild water rafting in the middle of the woods, but with an umbrella :-) When I came back to the bus station where I had to wait about 20 minutes my shoes were completely wet and my trousers and my backpack also, but I was lucky :-) I think only Geocachers know this feeling haha :-) The visit to Lithuania and Russia was also a long day: Picked up the rental car at 9 am and drove to Siauliai to the tourist information centre. Very friendly ladies, I found my first Cache in Lithuania and a nice souvenir (I mean a real one not the one from Groundspeak). My event was not so successful, nobody attended :-( In Siauliai I realized that Kaliningrad has another time zone (-1), ups, so I had one more hour before my event there starts. Anyway, continue to Sovetsk, parked my rental car near the border and walked over the bridge to Russia, which was a very good decision because on one hand I was not allowed to take the rental car over the border and on the other hand the queue for cars was very long and it took also very long, they inspected every car.
After walking around for about two hours in Sovetsk I went back to my car and then back to Riga. When I arrived at my accommodation it was about midnight.
The last day in Riga I visited the last caches and also the one at the airport before I am now at the airport.
To summarize the whole trip: Yes, all goals were accomplished, and even more! Had no bigger problems at all and it was very successful.
