Auf einem Höhenrücken südwestlich von Ortenburg in der sog. „Zell“, steht weithin sichtbar die Kapelle St. Koloman. Einst ein kleines, schmuckloses Gebäude, das auf Initiative der Familie Sickinger in Koloman 1978 in einer Gemeinschaftsaktion der Pfarrei Rainding und Umgebung einer vollständigen Renovierung unterzogen und mit einem kleinen Zwiebeltürmchen versehen wurde. Der Frauenbund Rainding stiftete dazu eine Glocke. Von der Kapelle rühren der Flurname „Zell“ sowie die Bezeichnung des nahegelegenen Bauernhofes „Zum Zellner“ her. Unter Zell, vom latainischen „Cella“ = Kammer, versteht man hier die Niederlassung eines einzelnen Mönchs, möglicherweise auch mehrere Mönche, die dem heiligen Koloman geweiht wurden. Alljährlich im Mai findet eine Reitermaiandacht statt. Im hölzernen Vorbau der Kapelle wurden inzwischen drei Votivtafeln aus der Hand des Kunstmalers Günter Wolf angebracht. Im Jahr 2002 wurde die Kapelle vom Heimat- und Trachtenverein Unteriglbach renoviert. Die Kapelle, die wegen ihrer schönen Lage und weitem Rundblick ins Wolfachtal und zum Bayerischen Wald gern besucht wird, ist Ausflugsziel vieler Wanderer.
Der Cache ist nicht direkt an der Kapelle angebracht sondern liegt beim ersten Kreuz auf dem Weg zur Kapelle!

On a ridge southwest of Ortenburg in the so-called "Zell", the chapel St. Koloman is visible from afar.
