Lefor is a small, desolate town, wth a Catholic church - and that's about it. The post office closed down but Lefor has somehow managed to keep its zip code. It also has still managed to hold on to the last vestige of the defunct Lefor State Bank. Even though the actual bank building is no longer there the bank vault has managed to survive. This interior organ of the bank is marked by a steel arch with an attached photo of the bank in its prime. The years of operation were 1913-1934.
