This cache is hidden on the outside of the Odessa Cemetery, which is located just a few miles west of New Leipzig. The town of Odessa was located just south of this cemetery. The town was settled predominately by German-Russian immigrants, of which my family was part.
My great grandfather's homestead was located in that township, and he went to elementery school there.
Please note the unique barbed wire wreaths hung on the fence posts, designating the cemetery's boundares.
