Begining in 1948, George and Barbara Bush lived in Odessa on E. 17th Street, then on E. 14th St, and finally on E. 7th Street. By this time, the family included George W. and his brother, Jeb - himself a future governor of Florida. They moved to Midland in 1950, settling first at E. Maple before moving to W. Ohio, and finally at Sentinel. In 1959, the family left Midland and moved to Houston.
George W. Bush returned to Midland in the 1970s, living at apartments or homes at Bedford Ave, Harvard Avenue and W. Golf Course Road. Those last two addresses were also home for future First Lady of Texas and the United States Laura W. Bush, and their children.
