De Oostpoort
Enige overgebleven stadspoortvan Delft, circa 1400 gebouwd.
Torens in 1514 met een verdieping verhoogd en voorzien van hoge spitsen.
Poortgebouw door stukje stadsmuur met weergang verbonden met waterpoort.
Gerestaureerd in 1962 - 1964.
In gebruik als woning en expositieruimte.
Tevens is de Oostpoort misschien wel het meest geschilderde en gefotografeerde monument van Delft.
En sinds heden een prima locatie voor een Virtual.
Loggen:
Om deze cache te mogen loggen moet je het volgende doen:
Maak een foto van jezelf en/of je GPS of iets herkenbaars met op de achtergrond de Oostpoort met de twee torens.
En dan het liefst zo origineel mogelijk.
Dus van de voorkant, achterkant of zelfs vanaf de overkant van het water, alles mag als de twee torens maar zichtbaar zijn.
Logs die niet voldoen aan de gestelde eisen worden verwijderd!
De Oostpoort
The only remaining town gate of Deflt, built ca. 1400.
Superstructure of towers raised with storey and fitted with high spires in 1514.
Gatehouse connected to part of town wall with a wallwalk, which is connected to a water gate.
Restored in 1962 - 1964.
At present private house and art galery.
The Oostpoort is also perhaps the most painted and photographed monument in Delft.
And since today a great location for a Virtual.
Logging this cache:
Take a picture of yourself and/or your GPS or something recognizable with the Oostpoort with the two towers in the background.
And preferably as original as possible.
So from the front, back or even from the other side of the water, everything is allowed as long as the two towers are visible.
Logs that do not meet the requirements are deleted!
