Šis virtuālais slēpnis atrodas Dzērves laukumā, Grobiņā. Laukums tā nosaukts, jo Grobiņas pilsētas ģerbonis - dzērve ir viens no Grobiņas pilsētas oficiālajiem simboliem. Apstiprināts 1925. gada 31. oktobrī, taču sākotnējais līdzīga izskata ģerbonis tika izveidots jau 1697. gadā..
Grobiņas ģerboni rotā dzērve (kāpēc tieši šis, nevis kāds cits putns, pat to vēsturisku liecību nav) ar saliektu kāju, kurā tur akmeni. Ko īsti tā simbolizē? Dzērve ir pilsētas modrības simbols - kamēr akmens tai būs satverts saliektajā kājā, tikmēr pilsētnieki var būt droši, ka tā sargā pilsētas mieru un neaizmigs. Tikko dzērve iesnaudīsies, tai uzmanība atslābs, akmens no kājas izkritīs, putns pamodīsies un atkal pildīs savu uzdevumu. Zināms, ka no sākotnēja pilsētas simbola šodienas ģerbonis nedaudz atšķiras. This virtual cache is located in Dzērve (Crane) Square in Grobiņa. The square is named like that because the coat of arms of the town of Grobina is one of the official symbols of the city of Grobina. Approved on October 31, 1925, but the original coat of arms of similar appearance was created already in 1697.
The coat of arms of Grobina is adorned with a crane with a bent leg holding a stone. What does it really represent? The crane is a symbol of city vigilance - as long as the stone is gripped in a bent leg, city dwellers can rest assured that crane protects the peace of the city and remains asleep. As soon as the crane asleeps or it will lose focus, the stone will fall out of its leg, the bird will wake up and perform its task again. It is known that today's coat of arms differs slightly from the original symbol of the city. What's more, the crane you are standing on today is very different from the real coat of arms - it was donated to the city by Norwegian friends from Hjelmeland on a birthday. It was quite a surprise to the people of Grobina , when they discovered it, they saw a stylized, lyrically dancing bird instead of their stout, serious crane. As officials later explained, it is a gift from friends that should not be seen as a real coat of arms. And the dancing crane really looks good on the pitch.
