Eg synas det er litt fascinerande med geoartar, og kva passar vel betre enn ei skarrupe på cachekartet øvst i Setesdal. Eg håpar at det kan vere med på å halde fram med respekten for naturen vår, som i desse dagar er sårbar av både ferdsel og klimaendringar. Ser ein skarrupe eller anna vilt i heiane, oppfordrast det til å nyte synet frå den avstanda ein er og lagre det i minnebanken bak øyro. 

Skarrupe som det heiter i desse traktene, eller bedre kjent som fjellrype, er til stor glede for dei som ser desse fuglane på heia. Setesdalsheiane har tradisjonelt hatt gode bestander med rype, men av fleire årsaker har bestandane svinga. Dei seiste åra har tellingar vist ein liten auke. 

Tanken med oppgåvene i denne serien er at ein skal ha det moro medan ein løyser dei, og eg trur ingen av oppgåvene skal vere alt for vanskelege. Eg set pris på tilbakemeldingar om det skulle vere noko med enten oppgåvene eller boksane.

I find geoarts fascinating, and what is better than having a grouse on the cachemap at the top of Setesdalsheiane. I hope this geoart can help to respect our nature, wich is now vulnerable to human activity and climate changes. If you see grouse or other wildlife in nature, please enjoy the view from distance.

In these areas grouse is called skarrupe and is of great pleasure to those who see these birds in nature. Setesdalsheiane has traditionally had good stocks with grouse, but for many reasons the stock has varied. In recent years, counts have shown a slight increase.

The idea of the tasks in this geoart is that one should have fun while solving them. I think none of the tasks are too difficult, and I appreciates feedback if there is any problem with either the tasks or the caches.
