Veikals nosaukts netālu dzimušā latviešu ekonomista, publicista un politiķa, viena no jaunlatviešu kustības aizsācējiem, Ainažu jūrskolas dibinātāja, kā arī pirmās latviešu bibliotēkas dibinātāja Krišjāņa Valdemāra uzvārdā. Veikals šajā vietā atrodas jau kopš 2000 gadu sākuma un ir vecākais veikals Valdemārpilī.

The cache is located in the territory of the shop “Valdemārs”.
The shop is named after the Latvian writer, editor, educator, politician, lexicographer, folklorist and economist, the spiritual leader of The First Latvian National Awakening and the most prominent member of the Young Latvians movement, Krišjānis Valdemārs. The shop has been here since the early 2000s and is the oldest shop in Valdemārpils.
- About the cache
The cache is located about 3 meters above the ground, all the necessary equipment can be found on site. To open the container, a bicycle pump is required which can be obtained at the shop’s counter (or you can use your own). It is recommended to visit the cache during the shop’s opening hours (7:00 – 22:00 Mon-Sun). After opening the cache, the device must be returned.
