Geocache Description:

21 May 2019, 10:00 - 11:00

Event times:
10:00 to 11:00
Tuesday 21 May 2019

The tenth in an occasional series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour or so of chat, the sharing of ideas, the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.

After a trip to a farm last time, we will be back at a basic town centre cafe for this meetup. And the venue is right in the centre of Heanor, on the Market Place. Heanor is a hill-top town which overlooks the Erewash Valley. There is, unfortunately, little left in the way of historical buildings as the town was heavily industrialised in the nineteenth century - and all that's gone too!

The venue is called the Royal Breakfast Cafe, and its postcode is DE75 7AA. There is a Pay and Display car park on the Market Place, but you don't have to look far afield to find free on-street parking in the area.

A full range of breakfast items is available. (though no purchase is necessary).
