The cache is situated in the "Aurlands dalen" (valley). It is one of Norway's most beautiful and popular hikes, walking throughout it. Anyway, there are two routes down, and the cache lies at the thoughest one. It lies just to the right of this magnificent view, in a tiny forest, under a overhanging stone. It's just about a meter off the path.
Now, the thing that makes it a bit hard, is a steep uphill climb, and a much steeper down hill climb. This is not for people with ankle or knee problems. Just take your time up and down. I have a confession to make, I forgot the original container and the contents at home. So I had to improvise. The container is a potato salad box. And the contains is a post card, a bag of sweets (they have a almost indefinite expiration date)and of course the log book and a pencil.
I thought of, what I think was a clever thing. I wrote my name and adress on the post card. So that you can post it to me, telling about your trip, as such. It would be fun if you could take a post card from your own country, to replace mine, and write your own names and adress to the next one to find it ( this is of course at free will, but fun). The next first one to find it can decide what to put in it other than the post card thing. I leave this completly to you. The box measures about 12*17*6cm. As said in the short description above: the cache lies about a meter from the path, or three meters to the right of the view point. In a little forest whith tiny leaf trees (fjell bjørker). There, under a small over hanging stone, it awaits you. PS take a moment longer to look at the view, and feel the breese.
