This is the city of Mandan’s 6th Annual Clean Up Day! They have asked for volunteers to pick up litter. Volunteers will be treated to an appreciation lunch featuring drawing for a variety of family-friendly prizes donated by local merchants & organizations.
An initial 9am gathering at Dykshoorn Park on west Main Street serves as an opportunity to receive instructions, trash bags, safety vests (until gone), and gloves if needed. This is where we will be assigned our route. Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, appropriate shoes, and bring protective work/garden type gloves. Donuts and coffee will be served at the initial gathering.
