Geocache Description:

This cache is placed on St. Roche's Hill, overlooking Goodwood racecourse and Goodwood House. The views from the nearby Trig point give views to the English Channel. This cache was originally placed by Rovi Ratuos in 2002. Since then Al 7365 has taken owner ship of this cache. The container and location have both also changed slightly, however primarily the cache has remained the same. The description in green below was the original description for the cache in 2002:

The container is a brown plastic "sweet" jar, the mouth is approx 3.75" in diameter. The items in it are soft toys and other items that could be of interest to the younger cacher. Whilst not necessary it would be nice if this theme could be upheld as far as possible. It is worth visiting Trundle One as the view is even better and it is not very far from Trundle Tots.

Cache Details: While approaching this cache please do not enter the fenced area, please stick to the footpaths when retreving this cache. The best way to access this cache is to park at the parking coordinates listed below. The car park is large, but on race day will be busy. From the car park head through the style south of the road and proceed up the hill. Follow the path round the fenced area, where the cache location should become clear. For an OS map of this area click here. The Views from the cache are spectacular, for an even better view visit the nearby Trig point: This is also the location of the Virtual Cache
