Geocache Description:

VS #181a - Little Gransden

The sign was made by Barry Keightley, Fotheringhay Forge and was presented to the parish council and villagers of Little Gransden by The Gransden's WI on the 17th September 1983. It looks like the sign used to be down near the local hostelry but it has now been moved up here.

This is a traditional cache and IS at the published coordinates.

The cache is a 2ml tube.

Village signs is a series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).

If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let SmokeyPugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
