Geocache Description:

The station was opened on 1 November 1877,by the LSWR you can see the original name above the station entrance. The station was renamed Queenstown Road on 12 May 1980. There are three platforms but only, Platform 2 with trains to Vauxhall and Waterloo and Platform 3, with trains to Weybridge via Hounslow, to Kingston on the loop via Richmond and two that run round the Hounslow Loop in opposite directions. There was a plan in 2015 to reopen platform 1 to increase capacity into Waterloo but nothing seems to have happened. Recorded passenger numbers are around 1.5 million per annum, buses 452,156 and 137 which becomes the N137 at night serve the station. Buses 44 and 344 stop a short walk away. Now about the cache I had difficulty obtaining accurate coordinates at GZ and I suspect others following may have similar problems. This is probably because of the bridge and proximity electrified tracks for this reason I was recently advised to increase the difficulty by an experienced cacher Rest assured the cache is not in the middle of the road. I have provided a large verdent clue as well below to make your search for this small micro cache easier. Please remember you may need tweezers for this cache. Congratulations to Lisboa_bruno on the FTF.
