The trail is very easy with the exception of a few small creek crossings in spring runoff. elevation gain is about 250 feet. You must hike about 0.7 miles from the mormon flat monument parking area at the bottom of the canyon or about 3.3 miles from the top of the trail.
The cache is a 30 cal. ammo box at the base of a tangle of small trees. Original contents include: Tape measure/level, pocket knife, Blockbuster gift certificates, CDs, CD cleaning kit, a small amount of currency, and an envelope with a surprise in it. Please sign the log book and have a piece of candy.
