This cache has been archived.

joeyAln: The cache has limped on for so long - it is time to archive and let others place a cache here. It has been great reading the logs and seeing photos. Thanks for all the interest.

Geocache Description:

TUBE SideTracked - Acton Town

Acton Town Station is a junction where you can catch trains for five different directions. The Piccadilly Line into Central London and beyond, to the Uxbridge branch and to the Heathrow branch; the District Line to a few local stops, then into Central London and beyond, and to Ealing Broadway. As a result, many Londoners pass through this stop everyday.

This cache is placed here as an excuse for you to break your journey up. For those on a budget and would rather not go on the Heathrow Express to the airport, this could be your last cache before you leave London!

A side challenge is for you to take a photo from the bridge north-facing, with more than one train leaving or entering the station! I will update this page as photos with more trains get uploaded alongside your log. I have managed just one train on my photo taken when placing the cache:

Please bring tweezers and a pen to do the usual admin. As you can imagine, the area is very busy with muggles: high level of stealth is recommended.
