I do like the Little Bridges series but as I already own plenty of caches I don't want to stick one on every little wooden bridge I come across (not that there is anything wrong with that - it's just a matter of numbers!), but I simply could not resist placing one here to show people this fantastic old stone arch bridge!
As you approach you'll see a few little bridges dotted around here but the one I want to show you is this unusual tiny stone arch bridge. The footpath has been diverted because of the stability of the bridge so best to go over the (second as you walk from the parking) wooden bridge and then left to the cache.
Whilst you are here take a look at the splendid dilapidated Court Farm from the cache site - this is a gem of a spot with the cute little bridge and the distant farm in my humble opinion.
The cache is a tethered Bison (which will no doubt fill with water) so please just unscrew it to get the log rather than detach it. Thank you.
The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire.
