About Coatdyke Station


The station was opened as part of the Bathgate and Coatbridge Railway on 1 February 1871. The station now has no structures other than simple shelters. Coatdyke railway station is situated on Quarry Street/Riddell Street. It is 10 miles (16 km) east of Glasgow Queen Street. There was a ticket hall that was built when the Airdrie-Helensburgh line was electrified in 1960, but it was demolished in the early 1990s.

The cache is a short walk away from the station. To get there, you need to solve the information you will get at the published coordinates.
