Geocache Description:

19 May 2019, 15:00 - 17:00

Last Summer, Northern Arizona Geocachers set their travel bugs racing at the first GIGA event in the US. Since some players couldn't participate, and some are having bad luck with their racer, we decide to begin another race!! You may bring your own travel bug tag or purchase one at the event for $5 (please note: there is a limited number of tags. Please put in your 'Will Attend' if you plan on purchasing a tag). Racers are encouraged to bring a hitchhiker to put on the tag. All racing travel bugs will be dropped off at a location that we will vote on at the event*.

We will meet at Mother Road Brewery and Taproom on Butler's private room from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Remember, the purchase of food is not required to attend this event.

Meeting-

3:00pm - 3:30pm Chat with geocachers, order drinks and maybe food if wanted
3:30pm - 3:40pm Announce 2018 winners
3:40pm - 4:15pm - Go over this year's rules and create travel bug pages.
4:15pm - 5:00pm - Socialize, share stories, discover travel bugs, bring those hard to solve puzzles!

To participate in the race:

Log a “will attend”, state if you want to race, and if you are purchasing a tag at the event.
Attend and bring a hitchhiker to attach to your tag.
Decide on a name for your TB.
We will be activating the travel bugs at the meeting and send them on their way.
1. Travel bugs will be activated and sent to you via adoption. We will be voting on where we will start the race (ie, the dropping off point*)! If you are bringing your own tag, make sure it is unactivated.
