Driving on the narrow Mediterranean isle of Cres you will cross the 45° N latitude where a column marks one of these mysterious virtual lines. We hid the cache nearby of the road, you can park almost right at the given latitude. Your task is only to find the longitude now.
The plastic box is covered by stones beside a tree. It’s not necessary try to climb directly to the cache. Walk about 200m beside the road to the North (towards Porozina) and you will find stairs up to the hillside. Up there follow the small path in the woods towards the cache.
At the cache the slope is rocky, be very careful not to kick down a piece of rock onto the road!
In this area some vultures live which are unique in Europe. If you are lucky you can see them flying high above.
