Geocache Description:

Number 1274 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

This fine pair is tucked away off the main road in the little village of Eldersfield. The telephone box has been converted into the village book exchange since it became redundant.

You are looking for a simple black magnetic nano, tucked away just next to this fine pair. You will need to bring your own pen/pencil and possibly tweezers. You can park up very near to the cache and please be aware there are a few nearby houses.

Also note that the school bus collects the local children just here to take them to Hanley Castle School so it can be a bit busy around pick up and drop off times as some parents bring their children in cars to meet the bus.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via geocachingafinepair@gmail.com to have yours added
